With its nippy acceleration and agile handling, the Ford Puma will put a bigger smile on your face than any other small SUV. This is a highly competitive class, though: the Puma misses out on a fifth star because a few rivals are slightly more well rounded.
The Puma ST gets the most powerful engine in the line-up, with its turbocharged 1.0-litre, three-cylinder engine putting out 168bhp. However, the pre-facelift 1.5-litre ST put out 197bhp, so everything is relative.
