The new Citroën C3 Aircross leaves little to be desired. True, the Renault Captur has a plusher interior and more flexible seating, but the C3 Aircross provides a level of comfort and space that more expensive cars sometimes struggle to match. The option of seven seats is a very compelling feather in its cap too.

See full equipmentWe’d stick to Plus, seeing as it comes with a good amount of kit. It gets 17in alloy wheels, cruise control, automatic headlights, electrically folding mirrors and a rear-view camera with rear parking sensors.
The engine
See full engine specsThis is the entry-level engine and is solely paired with a six-speed manual gearbox. We’ve yet to try it but we suspect it’s punchy enough – unless you plan on fully loading the car regularly.
