As with the regular Cayenne, the biggest strengths of the Porsche Cayenne Coupé are its handling and performance. And while we reckon the V8-engined S is the sweet spot in the range, we can see why you might be tempted to upgrade to the GTS.

The S has different alloy wheel designs to the entry-level Cayenne Coupé and there are minor styling differences, but it comes with the same basic kit, so the majority of changes are mechanical.

This S model is a second quicker from 0-62mph than the entry-level Cayenne Coupé, needing just 4.7 seconds. What's more, its 468bhp 4.0-litre turbocharged V8 sounds much sweeter than the V6 in the cheaper car. Overall, we reckon this is the sweet spot in the range.
