Find your perfect X-Trail

As a five-seater, the Nissan X-Trail is a spacious and comfortable cruiser. However, if you’re shopping for a seven-seater there are plenty of other options at around the same price that are more spacious and versatile. If you do buy an X-Trail, the front-wheel-drive e-Power in entry-level Acenta Premium trim offers the best value.

If you’re after luxuries, Tekna is the first place that you want to look. This trim adds larger 19in alloy wheels, a power tailgate, a head-up display, heated front and rear seats, electronically adjustable front seats with memory function and 40/20/40 split-folding rear seats. It’s expensive, though, and hard to recommend.

Despite being the most powerful version of the X-Trail and officially sprinting from 0-62mph in 7.0sec, the E-Power E-4orce doesn’t feel all that fast. It has plenty of oomph to get you up to speed on a motorway slip road, but we don’t think the power and grip benefits are really worth the extra investment.
