Read full Citroën C5 Aircross reviewMajoring on comfort and refinement, the Citroën C5 Aircross is a great-value family SUV, especially if you stick to the entry-level 1.2-litre petrol engine and Plus trim. It has lots of strengths, but if you want a plush interior, agile handling or seven seats, take a look at the closely-related Peugeot 5008 instead.
The trim

The engine
See full engine specsOur chosen engine only has 129bhp but its 0-62mph sprint of just over 10 secs is more than enough to quickly get you up to motorway speeds. Granted, the Skoda Kodiaq 1.5 TSI 150 will do the same sprint slightly faster, but the 1.2 Puretech 130 will never leave you struggling for pace. In fact, from low revs, it actually feels like it pulls harder than the Mazda CX-5.
