Cars available now

The Audi Q6 e-tron is a quiet and comfortable electric SUV with a great range, but it's not cheap and the interior quality could be better. So far we’ve tried the quattro (four-wheel-drive) version, but the pick of the range is likely to be the forthcoming rear-wheel-drive Performance model, which will cost less and have a longer official electric range.

Upgrading to mid-spec S line brings bigger alloys, sportier styling touches and a flat-bottomed steering wheel, but nothing of any real substance. We'd stick with Sport trim.

Has one electric motor driving its rear wheels, and promises to get you farther (up to 393 miles) on a charge than any other Q6 e-tron. We haven't tried it yet, though.
