The model
Read full Nissan Ariya reviewThe Nissan Ariya is a well-equipped and practical electric SUV available with a choice of two battery sizes. However, plenty of rivals are better to drive and can charge up more quickly. The entry-level 63kWh Engage represents good value, but we think the best version of the Ariya is the 87kWh Advance, which has a competitive range between charges and is very well equipped.
The trim
See full equipmentIf you want your Ariya to come with all the bells and whistles, Evolve trim takes everything you get with Advance trim then adds a glass panoramic sunroof, adaptive high-beam assist for the headlights, ventilated front seats, heated rear seats, a head-up display and an upgraded Bose stereo with 10-speakers. It's very pricey, though.
The engine
See full engine specsThe entry-level, front-wheel-drive version of the Ariya with the smallest 63kWh battery pack is not especially rapid by electric car standards, but is more than brisk enough. It can do 0-62mph in around 7.5 seconds and has an official range of around 250 miles.
