The engine
See full engine specsThe C300e plug-in hybrid is the C-Class that makes most sense – especially if you're a company car driver (because it attracts a low BIK tax rating) or can charge at home. It can officially travel for up to 68 miles on electric power, with more than 50 miles perfectly realistic in the real world, but it also has the reassurance of a petrol engine on longer trips, and performs very strongly when both power sources are working together.
