CUPRA Born: true aIl-electric excitement
As CUPRA’s first all-electric model, the CUPRA Born blends emotive styling, invigorating electric performance, heaps of versatile family space and the very latest connectivity tech with ultra-low running costs and ultra-low benefit-in-kind (BIK) tax rates.
With a P11D from just £36,420 and 0g/km CO2, there’s absolutely zero VED road tax[1] to pay with the CUPRA Born, while a current benefit-in-kind (BIK) rate of just 2% means drivers in the 20% tax bracket will pay just £73 per year, with those in the 40% tax bracket paying just £146 per year.
When it comes to running costs, data from the Energy Saving Trust says that electric company car drivers who charge off-peak at home can save 66 per cent compared to an equivalent petrol model, while servicing is estimated to be 43 per cent less expensive. The CUPRA Born is also ULEZ exempt, making it the perfect fit for urban drivers who want to escape the city.
Depending on which battery size and model you opt for, the CUPRA Born offers between up to 211 and up to 342 miles (WLTP)[2] of range on one charge. And you’ll get plenty of smiles per mile, with up to 231PS and 310Nm of instant electric torque on selected models – good enough for 0-62mph in just 6.6sec.
Charging the CUPRA Born at home, at the office or on the go is also easy. Using a 125kW ultra-rapid public charger, you can add 62 miles of range in as little as seven minutes, and charge from 5% to 80% charge in just 35 minutes. That gives you just enough time to grab something to eat between meetings.
Outside, the CUPRA Born looks unlike anything else on the road. Inside, its plush eco-conscious materials, futuristic 3D-effect styling, sporty bucket seats and a high-tech digital dashboard lend a quality feel to everything you touch.
The high-definition 12in infotainment touchscreen is your portal to CUPRA’s intuitive Navi infotainment system where you can find 3D navigation and all your favourite podcasts, music and radio stations. Wireless Full Link for wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone connectivity comes as standard, while the interior also boasts a wealth of USB-C ports and a wireless charging pad to keep devices topped up throughout the day.
The My CUPRA smartphone app unlocks even more from your CUPRA Born electric car, letting you manage charging, route planning and climate control functions from the comfort of your home or office. The My CUPRA app also brings all your servicing and maintenance information into one place.
When it comes to everyday practicality, the CUPRA Born offers spacious seating for five and 385 litres of luggage – that’s enough for six carry-on suitcases. If you need to carry more, folding the split rear seats yields up to 1267 litres of room. It also packs in a wealth of advanced safety features such as Traffic Sign Recognition, Pre-Crash Assist, Adaptive Cruise Control and Intelligent Park Assist to make every journey easier and safer.
CUPRA Formentor: performance meets practicality
Named after the wild cape on the Spanish island of Mallorca, the CUPRA Formentor blends sleek coupé looks with the space and practicality of a family SUV, the sporty driving character you expect of a CUPRA, and the efficiency of electrified driving.
The CUPRA Formentor range offers a broad choice of engines. But, for company car drivers, the CUPRA Formentor e-HYBRID – with its 1.4-litre plug-in hybrid – is the jewel in the crown. Offering up to 36 miles (WLTP)[2] of emissions-free electrified driving range, it can cover more distance than the average UK commute on electric power only. This also makes it perfect for driving into ultra-low emissions zones. It packs a punch too, with the most powerful e-HYBRID models offering up to 245PS and a 0-62mph time of just 7.0sec.
Blending the petrol engine with the electric motor, the CUPRA Formentor e-HYBRID offers up to 235.4mpg (WLTP)[2] and CO2 emissions of just 27g/km. The result: BIK of currently just 12% and road tax of just £170[1] for the year. Research by the RAC also suggests that hybrid driving could use up to 30 per cent less fuel that traditional petrol or diesel cars, which is good news for the mega-mileage inclined.
Like the rest of CUPRA’s line-up, the CUPRA Formentor certainly turns heads. Its sharp lines reflect that of rocks sculpted by the winds, while the long high-rise bonnet works with the muscular rear haunches to give a truly athletic side silhouette.
In the cabin, the CUPRA Formentor cocoons you in a raft of high-quality materials and uses brushed dark aluminium and copper accents to give a truly modern and contemporary feel.
Thanks to its SUV size, it offers ample space for five passengers and 450 litres of luggage space as standard (420 litres in all-wheel-drive models), increasing up to 1475 litres with the rear seats folded down. That’s more than enough for golf clubs, a pushchair or luggage for a long weekend away.
Up front, the dashboard appears to float: an impression created by the horizontal full-LED wraparound ambient lighting. The 12in infotainment touchscreen gives you access to all your navigation, music and podcasts, while the 10.25in digital driver’s display puts vital driving information right in your line of sight.
The CUPRA Formentor comes with a raft of creature comforts as standard, including an auto-dimming rear-view mirror, heated steering wheel, wireless phone charger, three-zone climate control, keyless entry and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto Connectivity. The CUPRA Connect app unlocks similar features to that of the CUPRA Born.
Like the CUPRA Born, the CUPRA Formentor also comes with impressive levels of standard safety features, including eCall to contact the emergency services in the event of an accident, Adaptive Cruise Control and Exit Assist.

CUPRA Leon: the best of all worlds
The CUPRA Leon and CUPRA Leon Estate also make real sense as company cars, offering serene long-distance comfort, oodles of connectivity and safety technology, impressive practicality (especially in the CUPRA Leon Estate’s form), hot hatch-infused performance and low running costs with the e-HYBRID powertrain.
The CUPRA Leon hatchback offers plenty of space for five and 380 litres of boot space as standard (enough for all the family’s luggage) while the CUPRA Leon Estate takes practicality to a whole new level, with up to 470 litres as standard and up to 1450 litres with the 60:40 split rear seats folded down – that’s nearly as much space offered in the much larger CUPRA Ateca SUV (more on that in a moment). All that space makes the CUPRA Leon Estate the perfect option for company car drivers who need a dependable daily driver for work, and a hard-working family wagon for the weekends.
Both the CUPRA Leon and CUPRA Leon Estate offer the choice of super-efficient 1.4-litre e-HYBRID engines, offering up to 32 (WLTP)[2] miles of emissions-free driving, CO2 emissions of just 29g/km and up to 217.3mpg (WLTP) [2]. This results in current BIK rates of just 12%, massively reduced fuel costs (especially for long-distance drivers) and road tax of just £170[1] per year.
And for those company car drivers not quite ready for a plug-in, both the CUPRA Leon and CUPRA Leon estate are available with a punchy 1.5-litre mild-hybrid engine that produces 150PS and offers up to 47.7mpg (WLTP) [2], CO2 emissions of 136g/km, current BIK rates of 31% and road tax of £245[1] per year.
When it comes to looks, the CUPRA Leon and CUPRA Leon Estate’s sharp lines, aggressive front grille, sculpted bonnet, sporty air vents, dual exhaust pipes and copper detailing deliver that true hot-hatch aesthetic. Inside, the bucket seats hug you through the corners and offer supreme comfort on the motorway, while the leather-wrapped steering wheel with copper stitching puts you firmly in control.
On the dashboard, the LED light bar that stretches from door-to-door changes colour to set the mood and doubles up as an innovative safety feature. The 12in infotainment screen works with the 10.25in digital driver’s display to put all your navigation, infotainment and driving information right where you need it. The CUPRA Leon range comes with three-zone climate control, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity and ultra-bright LED headlights as standard, while the CUPRA Connect app unlocks even more features.
Like the CUPRA Born and CUPRA Formentor, the CUPRA Leon packs a wealth of advanced safety features designed to keep you safe on the road. These include Adaptive Cruise Control, Traffic Sign Recognition, Park Assist and Lane Assist.

The CUPRA Ateca offers a broad lineup of turbocharged petrol engines that strike the ultimate balance between exhilarating performance that injects excitement into each and every commute, and great fuel efficiency that means you won’t spend your life at the pumps. Copper and dark aluminium detailing gives a true performance look, while the Alcantara bucket seats are cossetting and supportive in equal measure.
