Our verdict
The Peugeot 2008, with its lengthy standard equipment list, visually appealing interior and peppy, economical engine, unquestionably has the chops to be considered as an alternative to the Audi Q2.
Having said that, the Q2 edges a victory nonetheless. Its interior may not be as flashy as the 2008’s, but it feels slightly classier and better built, while its infotainment system is far more user-friendly. Factor in that it’s sharper to drive and has a better driving position and the Q2 is a deserving winner.
