Face-lifted Volkswagen Polo for 2014
* VW Polo to get new infotainment and cabin finish * Prices likely to be unchanged * DAB radio will be standard on all models...
The VW Polo will get a mid-life face-lift next summer, according to Robert Hazelwood, head of passenger cars at Volkswagen.Â
Improvments will mainly consist of changes to the interior and dashboard. The big change will be the infotainment options, which Hazelwood confirmed will include the company’s new colour touch-screen nav and audio hub, which was introduced in the new VW Golf.
Expect the entry-level Polo to get electric windows, steel wheels and a basic CD and radio. Higher-level cars will likely get a black and white touch-screen as standard, while top-end cars will get the 5.0-inch colour screen that is standard in the Golf. DAB radio will be standard across the range, as with the existing model.
Dashboard materials will also be revised to include more soft-touch finishes, and economy and emissions will be slightly improved.
The Polo will retain a starting price of around £10,650.
