BMW is planning to introduce 14 new models in the next two years, including four pure electric cars. Here we list them all and tell you everything we know about them so far...
Have you ever heard the phrase, “You wait ages for a bus, then two come along at once”? Well, it springs to mind when it comes to BMW and the launch of new electric cars.
You see, the German car maker currently offers four pure electric models: the BMW i4, the BMW iX1, the BMW iX3 and the BMW iX. However, as the planned 2030 ban on the sale of new petrol and diesel cars in the UK looms, BMW is ramping up the speed of its new electric car conveyor belt – and plans to double that number over the next two years.
The era of combustion-powered BMWs is not over just yet, because the firm will be launching 10 new models that are powered by a combustion engine in some form. Three new M performance cars will also be arriving over the next year or so, one of which will be the last pure-petrol powered M car available with a manual gearbox.
