Cadillac has revealed an estate version of its CTS, which will go on sale in the UK in autumn 2009.
Called the CTS Sport Wagon, Cadillac says the BMW 5 Series rival has been designed with aerodynamics in mind, to ensure the car retains a sporty drive despite its extra carrying capacity. Luggage space is 720 litres with the seats up and 1452 litres with them down.
Although no engine details have been confirmed, the UK engine range is expected to include the 208bhp 2.8-litre V6 and 307bhp 3.6-litre V6 from the saloon. A 247bhp 2.9-litre V6 diesel is also being developed for use in Europe.
Gearbox options are expected to include a six-speed automatic and manual, while four-wheel-drive will also be an option.
Other features include 19-inch alloys, a 40GB internal hard drive, sat-nav and full leather interior. A panoramic sunroof will be available as an option.
No prices have been released, but the Sports Wagon is expected to start from around 28,500.
