Most people these days buy their new car on a Personal Contract Purchase, or PCP, deal. PCPs are good news for buyers, because with this type of financing, you're effectively only paying for a small percentage of the car's value – so you could drive away in something you might otherwise struggle to afford.

Here, we've picked our top 10 new cars you can drive for £450 per month or less. This list has been compiled using our Target Price research, which reveals the most you should pay for a new car. Each of these deals is based a deposit of 15% of the value of the car, combined with the manufacturer's finance discount contribution (if there is one), with terms such as how long the contract runs for and how much you'll pay in total, set out alongside.
