Audi is launching a new edition of its A6, A6 Avant and A7 Sportback. The Black Edition models are based on the S line specification, but get more equipment and styling changes.
All Black Edition models include a black styling package, which brings black finishes to the grille, numberplate surround and window frames. They also get tinted rear windows, piano black interior upgrades, black leather and headlining, a Bose surround sound system, bespoke titanium-coloured alloy wheels and, on the A6 Avant, black roof rails. The A6 and A6 Avant Black Editions also get a digital radio and an iPod connection.
These equipment upgrades come on top of the S line spec, which includes sat-nav, parking sensors, keyless go, xenon headlights, automatic lights and wipers and Audis Drive Select adaptive dynamics system.

On the A6, the Black Edition is available with all engines except the V8 in the S6. Prices start at 35,010 for a 2.0-litre TDI manual front-wheel-drive saloon and go up to 51,025 for the 3.0-litre BiTDi quattro tiptronic Avant. These prices represent a saving of 2350 over S line models with the same added equipment.
The Black Edition is available on all A7 Sportbacks except the S7 and front-wheel-drive 3.0-litre TDI models.
