Available at a starting price of around £14,000, the latest addition to the Skoda brand will come in three different trim levels - the S, SE and Elegance - and is set to come with more features than the standard Rapid model.
Customers will be able to make the car their own through the addition of personalised design options. Future owners can choose to have a panoramic glass roof and/or elongated tailgate glass. Other styling options are also available.
The exterior doesn't deviate too far from previous Skoda models, with the model harking back to older Fabia designs. Smooth lines and an aerodynamic shape make the car attractive, while offering excellent interior space for passengers and a massive 415-litre boot for practicality.
Engines are available in three petrol and two diesel models, with outputs ranging from 86PS and 122PS. Customers will also be offered the choice of a manual or advanced DSG automatic transmissions.
For those with energy efficiency and low emissions on the brain, the Rapid Spaceback is set to have a GreenLine version launched, which will deliver 99g/km.
Owners will also benefit from alloy wheels, acoustic rear parking sensors, cruise control and a Bluetooth telephone connection.
