The first sketch of the new Hyundai i30 has been revealed ahead of the Frankfurt Motor Show where it will make its debut. The original i30 released back in 2007 was huge success so the new vehicle has big shoes to fill. The sketch shows Hyundais new design language which has come a long way over the last few years along with the reliability, quality, practicality and value for money. The latest Hyundai i30 has been designed to handle uneven bumpy European roads at Hyundai's Technical Centre in Russelheim Germany.
Thomas Bürkle who is Hyundai's chief designer said “the new Hyundai i30 which has a hexagonal appearance, with the jewel like front headlights that flank the grille add to the strong personality of the vehicle and also add to the sense of refinement and luxury.”
Hyundai have not released any technical data yet on the new i30, but expect efficient diesel engines that produce no more than 100g/km of CO2 and a wide range of petrol units will also be available to choose from.
The Senior Vice President Allan Rushforth expects the new Hyundai i30 to play a big part in future development of Hyundai in Europe and push for the position of best seller in Europe. He added since 2007, the name Hyundai i30 has become synonymous with ‘quality, ‘reliability and ‘low emissions in Europe.
