2011 New Ford Focus Prices Confirmed.

Ford has announced the new Focus will start at just under £16,000 when it goes on sale in March 2011. The new Ford Focus will be available initially as a five door hatch, which will be called the Edge. The Entry level Focus Edge will be powered by a 1.6 litre petrol engine with 104bhp, while a 1.6-litre TDCi diesel engine that produces 94bhp is available costing £16,995. Ford will also release a practical Focus Estate version in September, followed by Ford Econetic fuel saving version which will be added late 2011, while the high performance Focus ST goes on sale in 2012.
The Focus model range will get Fords Torque Vectoring system also available on the Focus will be a DAB digital radio, USB connectivity, Bluetooth, front, side and curtain airbags, voice control, ESP, ABS and Isofix. Next model up from Focus Edge is the Zetec and for an extra £1,000 you get 16-inch alloys, front fog lights Fords Quick clear heated windscreen, a leather steering wheel and sports seats. Titanium trim starts at £18,785 for the 1.6 litre petrol engine producing 123bhp and come with keyless go entry, cruise control, hill start assist, dual-zone climate control, automatic wipers and headlights and a tyre pressure monitoring system. The top of the range Titanium X starts at £21,245 for the 1.6 litre 148bhp Ecoboost petrol engine and comes with all features of the lesser models mentioned before plus 17-inch alloy wheels, partial leather trim, electrically adjustable drivers seat parking sensors, bi-xenon headlights, LED daytime running lights with headlight washers and electric folding mirrors. If this impressive list is not enough to satisfy your need for gadgets then Ford will offer features that wouldnt be out of place on a car of a higher class. Ford will offer a low speed crash avoidance system, lane departure warning system with blind spot monitor and a navigation system with a rear view camera. Ford also offer two candy paint colours in yellow or red.
