In late 2013, Kia teased the release of a brand new concept sports car to further the manufacturer's offering in the vehicle market.
It has now been revealed that the model, which will debut at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit this month, is the GT4 Stinger concept.
The car has been painstakingly designed at Kia's American Design Center in California, and features the brand's new signature 'Tiger Nose' grille.
It looks like a real aerodynamic monster of a machine, with piercing LED headlights delivered in banks of seven slits.
Under the bonnet will be a 2.0-litre turbocharged engine, capable of producing 315 horsepower that is sent straight to the rear wheels.
Kia has revealed it will come with front-brake cooling vents to funnel air around the 20-inch wheels, while downforce will be enhanced by a carbon fibre front splitter.
It's an ambitious model from Kia and is set to make a statement about what the brand is truly capable of when it comes to impressive vehicle design and performance.
