Evans Halshaw has taken a standard Fiesta and created a limited edition called the Ford Fiesta GTR. Evans Halshaw who is one of the super powers in the Car dealership network has created a car that would usually be out of reach to younger drivers due to insurance costs and overall cost of the vehicle. The new Fiesta GTR looks like it could easily be the flagship of the Fiesta range with its sporty styling features created by Evans Halshaw.
The Evans Halshaw team has definitely come up with a design that will appeal to all young drivers as it has an oversized front bumper with a mesh air intake which sits lower to the ground than the standard Fiesta bumper, chunky side sills, an oversized rear bumper and spoiler that finish off the GTRs body kit. The Fiesta GTR has been finished in a Frozen White paint scheme and comes with 17” alloy wheels as standard with a must have option of a high Black gloss roof which sets the GTR apart from all others within the Fiesta range. Inside the Fiesta GTR you get a set of aluminium effect peddles, privacy glass on the rear windows, air conditioning and a CD radio with MP3 compatibility.
The only downside is that Evans Halshaw will only release 150 limited edition GTR models with each vehicle displaying its own unique number on the dash board and door sills to identify what Fiesta GTR it is out of the possible 150 that will be sold. But reason how the Fiesta GTR remains acceptable to younger drivers is down to its 1.25 litre engine that produces 59bhp which achieve 0-62mph in a time of 16.9secs and returns fuel economy figures of 51.4mpg, this is why the GTR is in insurance group six.
