Silverstone will once again welcome the Fleet Show in April 2014 and organisers expect the event to be even bigger than it has been before.
First held in 2011, it has become the most important one-day event in the UK fleet industry and is set to represent as many manufacturers as it can fit in halls 1, 2 and 3 of the Silverstone Wing.
In addition to the indoor displays, there will also be outdoor track circuits for testing, as well as an off-road track. This last feature will allow drivers to test a range of 4x4 vehicles, with professional off-road instructors guiding them through the process.
Ross Durkin, organiser of Fleet Show, said that despite the growth of the internet and other online services, there is simply no substitute for face-to-face meetings and business networking.
“The buzz in the halls at this year’s Fleet Show was amazing at times, and our aim in 2014 is not only to reproduce this vibrant business environment, but also to build on the success of the 2013 show by adding a number of further attractions,” he said.
In 2014, there will be a new and improved floorplan, as well as fast-track registration and more access to catering.
“Our aim is to provide an event that is exciting, interesting and memorable, and one which has the right balance between serious educational content, effective fleet networking, interesting fleet services and hands-on driving experiences,” Mr Durkin added.
