According to the US car manufacturer, the Trax will offer a "modern, highly versatile yet fuel-efficient small SUV" that can offer a combination of practicality, safety and space.

The UK engine line-up will include a 1.4L turbocharged petrol unit and a 1.6L petrol engine, as well as a 1.7L turbo-diesel engine.
The two trim levels will comprise the LS and LT, with the former featuring 16-inch alloy wheels, air conditioning, remote central locking, rear parking sensors, front fog lights and auto headlights, as well as Bluetooth compatibility.
The LT trim level adds 18-inch alloy wheels, a rear parking camera, light-sensitive rear view mirror and leather steering wheel and gearknob, as well as the Chevrolet Mylink system as standard.
Andy Higgins, managing director of Chevrolet UK, commented: "Trax is poised to make a big difference in practicality and character of small SUVs on sale in the UK."
